The EDI Requirement Check

EDI consulting and requirement review for Odoo

Tell us who mandated you and where you stand today. A person reads it and writes back a plain readout.

The readout is free. Scoping the work itself comes after it and it is paid, so you will know what the next step costs before you take it.

Two answers to start

The first screen asks two questions and stores nothing that identifies you. The second asks where to send the readout.

A company name or a system name is enough. We do not publish it anywhere and we do not name your customer publicly.

Where are you today?

Two answers now. The next screen asks for an email address so the readout has somewhere to go. Nothing on this screen identifies you.

What comes back

A written readout, in plain language, covering four things. No slide deck and no discovery call to unlock it.

  • Which documents that customer asks for

The specific transaction sets your named customer typically mandates, and what each one means in the order-to-cash cycle you already run.

  • Platform or direct

Whether your situation points at a network you are already paying for, or at a direct connection over AS2 or SFTP with no middleware in between.

  • What has to change inside Odoo

The configuration the documents imply, and where your version and hosting help or get in the way.

  • What the scope depends on

The open questions that would move the number in either direction, so you can see what is settled and what is still a range.

How long it takes

A person writes it, so it takes as long as reading your answers properly takes. Expect it inside two business days, Mountain Time.

If your letter names documents we have not seen from that customer before, the readout says so plainly. A stated gap is something you can plan around.

What we do with what you send

The email address is used to send you the readout and to follow up on it. It is not sold, rented or traded, and one reply stops the follow-up.

If you attach the mandate letter or a remittance advice, send only what you are permitted to share. We treat it as confidential, we do not publish it, and we do not name your customer publicly. Ask and it is destroyed once the readout is written. Solvync Inc., 431B 41st Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2N4.

The full detail, including exactly how long each piece is kept before it is deleted, is on the privacy page.

Would rather just talk it through

Thirty minutes, Mountain Time, and you can bring the letter to it. The check exists so the call starts from something specific, and skipping straight to the call is a perfectly good way to do that too.
